My Deppea has flower spikes developing at the ends of the branches. It should bloom by the end of November or sometime the beginning of December. Photo taken Nov. 9, 2013.

Shirwhirl:
It has bloomed in the past. My neighbor, Randallsd on GoY gave this plant a few years back it's bloomed three times or so.
Here's some photos of this plant from my neighbor:

Alexandramou:
Yes, I'm very lucky! I almost lost my plant a month or so ago. It was very hot and it dried out too much. Some leaves shriveled up and dried out to a crisp.

Make sure it doesn't die!!!
Any seeds yet?????????

It won't die. The weather has cooler down from the very hot weather from last week. Also, we getting some rain showers, which we need so badly!
This plant hasn't produced any seeds, yet. My neighbor, GoY member Randallsd's shrubs produce tons of seed

Are you still growing it in a pot, or is it in the ground?

Wow! I can't believe how awful my grammar was on that last comment! :>/

Meanie:
It's in a big terra cotta pot. I haven't checked to see if the roots are growing into the ground, though. This happens so often here that I can't keep up.

You should water the pots more often then!

Actually, the more I water, the better the chances the roots will grow into the ground.

Oh - I assumed that they were looking for water!

No, they want to go into the ground so they can grow much faster and larger. LOL!
