Spring blooms in the greenhouse after a recent move from the house. I just love this one. The next cycle of bloom were hot and dry in bud, then drowned by rain so the first after this were once she moved back into the house this autumn.

That is one of mine favorites too. Wonderful rose.

This was such a strange year Karen, but the rose is very high maintenance. I've had it 5 years, moving in and out. It is starting to show that I prune it down hard, I may have to give it a larger body to keep it thriving.

The summer was hottest and driest I've ever seen this year. I could barely keep up with watering everything to keep it going at all. We are normally cooler and damp, so there is much less of watering to be done. I get four or five flowers four times a year. Kept in a 16 gallon pot, now a larger urn. I would just prune it hard after flowering, but I've decided to let it double in size this winter with the larger root space. It is the best fragrance indoors, slight and fruity.
