Sansevieria Flower Spike

The large Sansevieria growing outside at the San Diego Zoo have several flowering spikes emerging. Photo taken on Jan. 6, 2014.

I have 'bartels sensation' on my porch,and its been much better then the normal green and yellow varieties. In shade too.
Its when or if we have a wet and cool winter as to bring them indoors or leave them out like last winter. Pretty marginal up here in the bay area.

I do know most Sansevieria varieties will grow well outside in most of the SF Bay Area.
