This is lovely .....

Shirley it looks nicer than the photo is showing. I've been looking at a nursery site in Orkney, they have some lovely Geraniums - I especially like 'Storm Chaser,' 'Crystal Lake' & 'Dragon Heart', I like other perennials & roses too, the latter are very reasonably priced (I like one called Mischief) so, I think an order will be place there very soon, in fact I've put things in the shopping basket I just have to press pay! - my Christmas gift money is burning a hole in my pocket :))

The address is www.tranquility-cottage-nursery.co.uk

Hiya Motinot, it must be pretty tough to survive in Orkney.
Have you tried Patricia - a tall magenta with black centre? It's lovely :)

I bought 'Patricia' last summer, my favourite colour :o)

Annella, it's such a lovely colour combination - this year I'm going to move the astrantia growing in front of it and replace with either, dark Salvia 'Caradonna' or Scabious 'Ace of Spades'! Any other suggestions anyone?

Ace of spades looks lovely :o)

I agree Annella, I have one in the garden, but I don't know how hardy that variety is - just have to wait and see - in fact, I'll just go out now and have a look for any signs of it!

Had a look - yip it's alive, but looked at the label it's Scabious Ebony & Ivory. I've just looked it up and there is only either Ebony or Ivory - so I guess the one I've got is Ebony!

While ferreting around looking for the label I brushed against some Monarda leaves and got the smell of summer for a few seconds - Bergamot is lovely - so fresh! :))
