W85th Street and Amsterdam

W85th Street and Amsterdam

Though many are weary of the endless succession of winter storms, there is something undeniably romantic, serene and peaceful about a night time walk to the corner pharmacy on 85th street with it's snow draped Gingko trees overhead.

Thanks for your comment Jane! I do agree with you. I was kind of grasping for words to describe this scene. It is very picturesque, but it also conveys an impression - you almost feel like you are in a movie or in a fantasy land. I'm glad I can share this with you. I appreciate your insightful comment.

That's a good point, Sandra, and there's hardly a good reason to "have" to go to the pharmacy.
