Peacock butterfly in the garden today

no i do not remember seeing...but ive seen quite a few photos recently of butterflies which people have seen and took photos of as like you they thought the same...and they were peacock! interestingly...

I couldn't believe my eyes when it fluttered by. I ran indoors for the camera then spent the next 30 minutes on a freezing cold step waiting for it to reappear. Worth the freezing cold bum :)

hi there, i saw two butterflies in my garden this morning one was a huge yellow one and the other was brown with spots (stupidly ive forgotten names again) did mange to capture the latter...

Cambridge area iam in and the date 24/02/2014...

The yellow butterfly was probably a Brimstone and the brown one with spots might be a meadow brown or a painted lady but a lot of butterflies have spots.
