Arid conservatory

The smallest conservatory at Hidden Lake Gardens but a lot of colorful foliage and flowering plants to see this time of year.

It is too wet and cold for them to grow outdoors here too. The only cactus I can grow outdoors is the prickly pear cactus (Opuntia). I wish I had taken more pictures but the sun was very bright that day and made it hard to get good pictures in the arid conservatory. There were some huge Agave and a large Pachypodium and ponytail palm (Beaucarnea recurvata).

Very pretty flower some varieties there I like, but too wet here for them.
