This picture was in 1980s & he (Woody) did catch a few of the fish, but herons had quite a lot too!! In the end with one thing & another the fish all died or disappeared & it was only last year that we got it cleaned out & restarted & now we have 5 new fish!
We bought some of those click together netting pieces so hope that with deter cats & herons!!
Woody is no longer with us, but we now have Willow a rescue cat who we have had since last May.

Herons are a pain for fish ponds, they don't seem to undersatnd the concept of "keep out"!
glad you have new fish, what kind are they? hope the netting works!

Beautiful . The reflection is clearer all to do with light the sun is shining on the cat but the pond has shade from your plants behind making the pond look darker. I find I get clearer snd true colour when the sun is going down.

Woody was trying colour co- ordination with your Nasturtiums (& watching the fish of course).

Funny how the cat's reflection in the water looks clearer than the real one above!
