Huge clump of this tasteless stuff

It's pretty alright as you say C, and I'm told it's very good for you but I.'m pleased to find an ally as regards the taste. My daughter eats a plateful of chard and spinach quite often for lunch but I don't know how she does it.

Eugh! Mind you, I eat a lot of Beetroot, and some people feel the same way about that! We are all different :)

Beetroot I like, especially pickled beetroot, which I grow and pickle myself. But sadly the diet I have to follow just now says to eat it sparingly.

Could you eat more if you didn't pickle it Hank? I know a lot of vinegar isn't good for most people. I have mine plain boiled, in a salad with a little oily dressing. It's also extremely good roasted!

Thanks C, I'll try it roasted as my daughter insists I eat it.

I know how good it is. I'm told it's second best just behind spinach. May try them both.

I'm glad you said that Hank, I think it's awful to taste too, but people rave about it. It is very pretty though!
