another tiny plant that i'd not noticed before. it's in one of the borders that I've not got to yet.

I thought hyacinths were larger - of course, it's still early in the season, and it's not been out for very long. I've only ever seen "giant" ones, which were so big that the stems couldn't support them, they kept flopping over.

I find that the Christmas ones that I plant out in the garden after flowering are often smaller the following year. Mine have then disappeared completely so I am no expert :)

aww, Gee! only the following year? did they ome back to full strength theyear after? maybe it was getting acclimatised to being outdoors - or to learning to feed iteself rather than be fed?
This one was a gift from the prevous tenant, it's the only one I've sen so far - can't imagine they'd plant only one, so can only wait to se what else comes up

Looks like a hyacinth to me but I've been known to be wrong before :)
