Carex Sparkler

I had this lovely plant, another of the casualties of those awful winters even in a pot in the greenhouse it didn't make it :-(

Oh no that's a shame had this 2 years I think but hasn't grown much really but I did have to cut it back last year :)

That's lovely...different. Pity it's not quite hardy by the sound of it, but it's really attractive.

You can see where it's name came from it looks like sparklers exploding .......

Thanks Karen and Amy its one of those eyecatchers I couldn't resist at the garden show but it did survive two cold winters :))
