In a sheltered spot close to the Rhododendron, I've got a green flowered Daphne. The flowers are just so tiny you can hardly see them...

Thanks Klahanie - It had lost it's label... I first had it planted in a very shadey area in the garden, but five years ago I replanted it in a more sheltered spot which gets a fair amount of sun - It seems to be doing absolutely fine now! :o))) Sorry to hear that it's such a pest in your native forests though :o(

It looks like Daphne laureola ,Petaltracey. I know it well. It is a serious threat to our native forest ecosystem on Vancouver island , particularly Garry oak woodlands and dry Madrone/Douglas fir forests. It is popping everywhere , probably redistributed by birds. All parts are poisonous but it is a nice looking plant and I keep many of them around.
