Aaaaw thankyou everyone glad you like it :-), must say its my favourite place in the spring and lots still to come, hostas are just starting to show,I sprinkled seed of something which has germinated but can't for the life of me remember what it was lol.
I took this early evening Karen, still trying to get the hang of the new camera so a lucky shot I think, how I wish I could paint but my brother got all the talent in that department :-)

It looks wonderful Kathy you've worked so hard on it ...I thought about both you and Dawn yesterday as I bought a plant which I think you would both like it's a perennial shade lover Asarum maximum 'Silver Panda 'it has huge evergreen leaves with amazing white eyed -black blooms I haven't a flower on my new plant but there was one in the nursery so I could see what it was going to look like I didn't buy that one as the leaves didn't look as good as the one I bought , If and when mine has a flower it will be on here !

Well Kathy, it looks magnificent, you've worked so hard, it's not as easy to do as one might think, is it. You've got so much growth in there and it looks so natural. I think you should have Gardener's World round! Love it, love it, love it.
Amy, your new plants sounds lovely, just googled, I can see why panda is in the name and the leaves are lovely, like cyclamen but bigger.

Thankyou both :-)
OMG Amy!!! I've googled too thats one amazing plant never seen anything like it,can't wait to see yours in flower :-), wish we had some local nurseries that stocked more unusual things my favourite shut a couple of years ago.
Monty would love it Dawn plenty of cow parsley he likes that doesn't he lol, I'm only showing you the good bits;-), as you know it is a slow job trying to get on top of the unwanted things that try to take over, I spotted some hogweed yesterday!!!!!!, I know you have that, I need to sort it while there's only a few before it gets out of hand like the cow parsley, which is now growing like a triffid and covering the bluebells :-(

Get that hogweed dug out Kathy, one year I decided to put weed killer on mine when it was just growing up, didnt kill it, I sprinkled salt on it and even poor salt down those stems, still it thrives. It has a huge tap root. When it flowers, like cow parsley, its nice but not so nice when those brown hollow stems are left standing.
You'll do it all eventually, its a labour of love, isnt it.
I think Alan T likes cow parsley too, I have his new book and he lets it grow along his grass verge, lol.

That was going to be my next question Dawn, does roundup work?, oh heck I'd better get digging.
Oh well the cow parsley maybe needs to stay then lol, a designer plant ;-)

No Kathy, sorry to say, I used Roundup, and sprayed the hogweed when it was just emerging, probably I should have given them some more. I've noticed today how its thriving, grrrr. Cow parlsey does seem to be well loved, lol. Mine is swamping the bluebells too, sigh.
