You're more confident than me Karen ;-) Going to see what comes up in the grass anyway and keep adding as I go along. In autumn I'll add some Snake Head Fritillary too as its quite damp on this patch. I've been growing wildflower mixes like you and I'll put them out as plugs.

I should think that's definitely the most economical way Dawn. I plan to gradually split and move mine util I'm all around the hedge. There's no rush. The farmer has promised me that he's going to be careful with his sprayer after seeing all my hard work. :)

Lovely. Wish we were young enough to do this kind of gardening!

It looks great already Dawn, your gardens never ending, love it.
I was really excited this morning a few years ago I was sent some red cowslip seeds, they got lost in the depths of the seed box and I forgot to sow them, so a couple of years ago I sprinkled them round the pond not thinking they'd grow as they were quite old seeds and today I spotted 3 just starting to open!!!, just reminded me seeing your cowslips :-)

I appreciate your confidence DD ;-) Oh Dorjac, you are never too old :)
Hi Kathy, thank you.
What about your cowslip then, lol. Red too, just amazing. I love cowslips, have some in the wood now too. Must take some pics of in there, not enough hours in the day.
I've never seen red cowslips, you must post a pic when you get chance.

They're not open fully yet but once they are;-) looks like one may be more orange, suppose they all cross and make different colours, I'd never seen a red but strangely yesterday a stall on our local market had some :-)

Thanks Amy :-)
Did you buy some off the stall Kathy?

We've decided to let the grass grow adjacent to the greenhouse/woodland and create a meadow, hmmmm we'll see how it goes, I've been adding spring plants and growing wild flowers for summer colour.
