Thanks - being a bit sheltered, these ones are still intact, but the pink ones in my big blue pot are all being wrecked by the wind, boo hoo. I can't remember their name of these yellow ones...I'll try to look it up.

The wind has died down today thank heavens. It was just awful over the weekend. We couldn't have picked a worse day to scatter ashes!

Splendid, looks like a flower arrangement. I'm amazed there is any soil in the trough, I've never thought of cramming so many in, no wonder mine look rubbish:-))

That's how I plant up all my containers, Ba. I bet yours don't look rubbish!

They do, but I'm learning:-)) It's funny how I hate a space in the borders, but my containers never look full enough. I think I'm afraid that there won't be room or sustenance fo whatever I put in:-)

Do you plant bulbs in layers? I do - and it works for me. I recycle the bulbs from containers - a friend has them, as she has a huuuggge field!
