so sorry you're not allowed to keep pets! that always saddens me...it's one of the reasons i chose to move here...this retirement community has more little dogs than people, and boy, do we care about them! glad you have this little one,even if only for awhile...you're doing a great job with him/her..thanks for the pics, it's fun to watch the changes....pat...

What a shame that you can't keep her. Will you be able to keep in touch with her progress when she moves on?

She will be going this weekend to an aunt and uncle of my daughter's live-in boyfriend, so will hear how she is doing. They are great cat lovers and have an older cat (18) so will be good for Willow to be exposed to another cat and hopefully learn from it. They do much better with another cat around, even if they don't always like each other! This older cat tends to just avoid younger cats if they don't hit it off and is not confrontational, but the new owners will be sure to keep an eye on things and give Willow her own 'safe' area for a while.
They have always had black cats and said it must be fate that Willow was looking for a home, especially since their cat is getting old.
