tulip Van Tuberten's

Little bit of red to liven things up. My little low tulips were a total dispointment Fran. I am going to plant up the pots they were in with yellow Million bells petunias to see if one plant grows as well as last years plants grew alone. If so, never again will I cram a pot with these tiny flowered friends. They like a pot to themselves.

oh, sorry to hear that , Dorjac. were the bulbs very crowded?

I tend to worry about crowding - those overfloweing hanging baskets look lovely, but how much are the plants stressed by having to compete so fiercely for the limited resources? so I tend to spread mine out maybe too widely, one titchy plant per pot!
