First thing this morning...Police trying to round up 2 stray ponies

I saw horses,
running,
without saddle and bridle,
they ran in a dawn.
I saw wild horses.

I know all about that - we had stray ponies in our garden we woke up to this strange noise about 5.30 am one morning. Police had rounded them up off the roadside and walked them up our driveway saw a gate, opened it up put the horses inside, shut the gate and then just left them there. We were four hours trying to get them to remove them they were trampling all over everything and starving hungry. Think if I remember right there were six all skin and bone, gypsy ponies. They, the police, thought it was a field. You have never heard such a silly explanation. What was really daft was the wood was open for them to run off into and escape again. The air was rather blue that morning when I eventually got hold of a policeman. lol we can now but not at the time, it was quite scarey being woken by horses running wild all around. Thankfully I had hay bales and we fed and watered them and they stayed where we put them until the police eventually got a horse box up to take them away in. No damage Olive....The police did look really silly, they didnt have a clue...eventually the ponies ran up the road...you can see the road beyond the grass...I dont know what happened after that....Im sure you were very angry about the damage Olive...
