Thank you Melchi :O) Not been out there much today, the rain has been coming down steadily for most of the day. Did manage to find a fern for a pot and get it planted up though.

It's drizzling here too. A bit miserable-looking, in fact! It's fairly mild, though. I just went into the greenhouse to find the clematis lables. I am not inclined to remain outside!

Looking very pristine indeed, sorry I did not get back to you re the fern, I have lost most of the fern labels, had them all such a long time, some over 20 years......glad you managed to find one for your pot.....

Oh no problem Dd I know you are busy with your garden. The one I have got was only a cheapo one from Morrisons Gc. It had not got a label on it but it did say it would grow to about 50 cm. Did some research on it and think it is Hearts Tongue Fern ?(will post picture later on) only a baby at the minute so hopefully it will grow up. :O)

Hart's Tongue ferns are lovely. I have a couple in the garden, and several growing out of the walls. They will spread if they like the conditions. When my Mum and Dad were on their narrowboat, they loved to see the hundreds growing on the walls of a bridge under the A59 at East Marton - quite amazing.
