I like to see the ferns unfurling one day there's nothing the next they have filled a huge gap . shame about your nibbled plants ,I'm having trouble with the Hollyhocks great big holes in the leaves I eventually found caterpillars under the leaves Grrr ....

Seems to be so many pests this year doesn't there must have been the mild winter, obviously to much for even the birds to manage, the blue tits have been busy clearing greenfly off the roses outside the kitchen today though so they are trying to help :-)

The birds have been at my loquats. They like them a little less ripe than me.

Both of our ligularias get holes in them, so annoying. The ferns look fantastic at this time of the year...
