We all admired this on Sheila's site, and it looks even better in person. My first flower on it, and I used the pollen everywhere. This year, crosses using it were a hot seller on the LilyAuction site.

I made lots of crosses, so there should be some exciting extra seeds this fall. It is already up to 4 fans, and 2 scapes. And it stayed amazing all day - I kept going to look at it.

It'll be so exciting to see what offspring this produces,being such a new breakthrough with those extra petalets are they called?
Always the sign of a good one when you nip in and out several times a day to take another look ;-)

Sorry - internet/TV connection problems for the last 3 days.
Those are the usual extra petals. The Amethyst Reflections x Unk have what are known as petaloids. I made a couple of crosses, and in the next couple of days, the next flower will open.
