Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud'

I thought the "Paul's scarlet" is pretty but this one is lovely too. More vivid ....I think.

I went to the Nursery a few years back, with every intention of buying 'Paul's Scarlet' but I fell for this one! :-))

I can see why. Must be very showy when in full bloom.

It is - I just hope it stays in flower for my open days!

It was in full bloom last year when we opened. Everybody was asking about it!

It was probably the mild winter and early warm spell, blossomed too soon:-(

Actually, it was the usual time for it - last year it was late. So I shouldn't moan.
