Thanks Kathy. Snails and slugs love lupins, dont they, they nibbled off most of my ones in trays in the greenhouse. I had loads of lupins a couple of years ago but sadly all gone now, I'm going to grow some every year so I always have some. Did you notice your geranium bottom left.

Lovely well covered bed Dawn. I've never been able to grow lupins or delphiniums as they are always nibbled before maturity. Yours look very healthy. My mum always grew them.

My delphinium is OK too so far. What a shame Dorjac, frustrating isnt it, the snails have totally annihilated my ligularia, grrrr

The bed has filled out beautifully Dawn , I looked at my Lupins yesterday not having had the chance to look round too closely and noticed half the flowers looked grey on closer inspection I could see it was aphids millions of the nasties ,yuk !

Its a battle keeping on top of pests. I've noticed black fly around too.
