It is "kohoutek věncový" in the Czech language :-)

:-) It is a tough biennial, ready to seed everywhere....like foxglove. Very vivid with these hot pink flowers and silvery leaves.

But I read about it, Klahanie, that in the Czech republic it is very rare flower and so it is not in Slovakia, with the exception of the southern vineyard areas, where it survives. So it doesn t look like it is so hardy.

The flowers on these are so vibrant. I have a pink one.

Hi Lindak, these are pink as well, it just direct sun makes it so vibrant.

Mine are in bud at the moment. I did have a white one but it died. The foliage is as nice as the flowers in a way.
