I moved a couple of drumstick Primula into this spot in the spring - I wondered why one of them failed to flower!

I do try hide the foliage Karen - these later ones are not so bad but the Drumsticks just get humungous!
Lady's Mantle does the job perfectly but not everyone likes to grow that. I don't mind it and I don't find it seeds itself here (yet).

Thanks Alan - that's the other makeover I've been doing this spring. I'm saving the reveal for when I've some flowers on the trellis. It's like waiting for the kettle to boil!

...ha ha...it tricked you! I do like these candelabra primulas, but the foliage is awful...it needs to be hidden by other things as you have it here. :)
