Your Monkey Puzzle is growing Dawn , mine has a few nasty brown branches at the bottom I've been reading about the problem it appears it's natural for them to do this ,we cut them off when it happens ...

It is Amy. They naturally lose the bottom branches, dont they, John cuts them off before they start to die because he has to mow around it, keeps the bottom clear, if not ouch.

You have a Monkey Puzzle too! Saw a pic of Amy's tree a few weeks ago. Lucky ladies...would love to grow one. Reminds me of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" and the Captain with his Monkey Puzzle tree!

Another lovely picture!!!, can see Bonnie's found something edible lol.
Can't believe how everything's grown here in just a week, not stopped raining long enough for me to have a wander yet though.

Thanks Dotty, get another monkey puzzle, sure you can squeeze one in.
Thanks Kathy, yes, Bonnie always finds something to eat even if its just grass, lol.
Typical, rain on your return, there will be lots of growth.

Ha ha Dawn I already have far too many trees in our small garden, some day someone is going to curse us....lol

Lol DD, enjoy them, a garden without trees is limited, if they get too big you can end their life, sad but sometimes ....

8 Jun, 2014

True we do love our trees.....
