That Lysimachia is such a wonderful foil for any colour isn't it...it's a shame it's a thug. I suppose it could be planted with a barrier around it.....thinks....hmmm...

It should be ok with a barrier, but actually it is very easy to pull up. I am always taking it out. It obviously likes that border. It is an amazing colour without the little yellow flowers it produces eventually. I love bronze foliage and it helps support other plants as it stands tall for quite a long while unless it gets very very windy.

I wish ours would grow away like yours Olive it has never once become a thug here....

oh dear, dd so sorry, you obviously have a well behaved Lysimachia, I am always pulling this one out and it creeps up on me when I am not looking. lol :O)

I love that combo and bet the Lysimachia would be ok in my horrid clay.......It slows most thugs down :o)

lol think it would be Annie although we are quite heavy clay in places in the garden. After saying that though this border has had a heck of a lot of compost etc. thrown into it over the years, that maybe why it likes it, too much food for it. lol.
