They grow very fast. I cut mine back to a couple of feet in early spring, and it's about seven feet tall already.

It will carry a few flowers Dawn, but I grow it for foliage effect.

This ones 7 or 8 years old Klahanie :-), must admit it's never really had a hard prune.
Yes this is the one your cutting was from Dawn :-)
That's just what I was going to ask Dawn,know you can hard prune them but quite like the flowers on this one :-)

Kathy, great minds think alike. If they get too big then we can hard prune and they'll flower again in a couple of years as before, good to know, thanks Andrew.

I had a bit of a cut back yesterday of lots of shrubs overhanging the grass, poor Rob gets poked in the eye stabbed and trips up every time he cuts the grass ooops :-)
