Protect your rhubarb leaves and your gunnera - if you have either!!! You will need rather large blue pellets though!

I can see from the colour of him that he is already immune to the blue pellets! Run for the hills....and take your plants with you!

Lol karen....
best sort of snail to have shirley... :)

15 Jun, 2014

Thanks Wildrose, Karen and Holly - I couldn't resist buying it!

Lol Alan - son has now christened it Brian - memories of 'The Magic Roundabout' no doubt!

Lol Carole!

Ha ha Sandra - I picked him up to sweep around the plants of debris and you can guess what was lurking beneath! One fat slug ... yuk!

20 Jun, 2014

Aw bless..company for Mr Blue ! :o)

20 Jun, 2014

Not likely ... it went in the brown bin ... where all the others eventually go!

20 Jun, 2014

Well, brown and black aren't the best combination of colours,Shirley..unless it was one of the beigey/orangey one..and I know how much you like Orange ! :o)

20 Jun, 2014

Shirley_t, careful putting more than one snail in the brown bin at a time, ......... They'll make babies !

20 Jun, 2014

They can create as many offspring as they like Alan ... so long as they remain in the bin! :o)

21 Jun, 2014

I reckon Brian and one of his offspring would soon have the lid open. Best get a padlock Shirley_t ... :~))

21 Jun, 2014

LOVL Alan ... see what I did there?!

22 Jun, 2014

Shirley_t, you've been spending to much time listening to Steve Wright on Radio 2. See, you learn something new every day on the GoY website..... Not always useful ... LOEL (Laughing Out Even Louder) <];~))

22 Jun, 2014

Nope - I never listen to him! .......

22 Jun, 2014

You are on the wrong wavelength there Alan.Shirley is more into Grunge,or Garage stuff..:o))

22 Jun, 2014

Sandra, Bit out of my depth now. I guess you mean groups like Screaming Trees, Bush and Sound Garden .... Really enjoyed the 50 years Beatles documentary last night ... Now that was a decent band.

22 Jun, 2014

Grunge? Garage? Blimey Sandra, what era are you thinking of?!!! Currently, the radio is tuned in to SmoothFM, which plays all those songs from the 70's and 80's ... a trip down memory lane for me! :o)

23 Jun, 2014

That suits me too Shirley_t ... <]:~o)

23 Jun, 2014

Lol,you two,I wouldn't know grunge from garage, except you can park a car in one of them.. just having a bit of fun :o) but of course you both knew that, didn't you? :Lol..
I'm a tad earlier than you Shirley, when it all kicked off in the 50's..Happy days :o)..Sorry Alan,I'm not a big Beatles fan..

23 Jun, 2014

Sandra, a lot of people aren't a fan of the Beatles. If we all liked the same thing ...... " wouldn't life be dull".

24 Jun, 2014

Exactly,Alan..I loved them when they first arrived on the scene, but it waned as time went on,and I found other things I liked better..Country music being one of them..Yee hah ! :o)

24 Jun, 2014

Shania Twain songs always make me think of you Sandra!!! :o)))

24 Jun, 2014

Lol,Shirley..still one of my favourites. I play them when I'm in the kitchen..I know my place ! :o) ..(not really,)..ha ha..although now I am plaster cast free,as from yesterday,. I might just have to show willing ..sigh....

24 Jun, 2014

Lol Sandra ... pleased the pot is off at last ... now you are able (if not willing) to make Russell his favourite cake! :o)

24 Jun, 2014

I may well be able to spin that one out a little longer ,Shirley..and the hoovering etc ! :o)

24 Jun, 2014

:o)))

25 Jun, 2014

Shirley_t, did I hear someone mention CAKE ! Now that is an interesting subject .... unfortunately no cake in our house, Wendy keeps an eye on my waistline. I guess if I had to choose between beer and cake, beer would always win anyway... LOL.

PS Just wondered what Russell's favourite is ....... I bet it's carrot cake?

26 Jun, 2014

Combine the two in a Beer cake? No, perhaps not!

26 Jun, 2014

Now you're talking..CAKE ! Russell eats anything I put before him..OK,maybe with a gun to his head.. and smiles and nods approvingly Lol..would he dare do anything else..? I myself ,prefer a cholesterol laden type..but sadly,I try, only try,to resist .and he likes his beer neat..cake would just spoil it :o)
