Day Lily - 'Fulva'

This day lily likes life on the wild side. She ran away from home and mulitplied like crazy all over town, wherever there's an empty lot, anyplace along the roadside she can dig in her roots and any garden that opens a door to her. :)

Simbad: That's very interesting, thanks for the background story. So to add to her wild life, she assumes different identities. I find it very attractive and will do very well where others fail. Like you, I need to keep under control.

It's called 'Fulva' Bathgate one of the original species daylilies , other common names are Tiger Daylily,Tawny Daylily or Ditch Lily which is where I found my plant of it !!! lol, very vigorous variety that's not allowed in the daylily bed here, still pretty though I grow it in the borders :-)
