What a great idea,I guess you don't make jam anymore? Lol..and I love your combination planting, they go so well together..:o)

I have a stainless steel one I make the jam in, actually this is just a makebelieve jam pan, it is I think rubber composit. It will soon be jam making season again, we are on the last jar of raspberry jam nearly all gone. :O)

Tom West is proving hardy so far in my foliage garden. This is the third year he has appeared.

Thats good to know Andrew wonder if I shall be able to keep it too, managed last year to keep one that wasn't hardy, but it was a bit exceptional, don't think we had a frost until spring. Cannot remember a winter as mild as the last one ever. :O) We will be lucky if we get another one like it.

I know, we only had four ground frosts in Bracknell. Now everything is growing like crazy.

It would be good if that is how it was for all our winter months, I can cope without a lot of heat in summer as I am not one for being too hot and winters without frost would be good for my garden, I could just aboue manage that sort of weather. lol. IF ONLY lol :O) Then we would be all moaning that the bugs had not been killed off and things were being eaten by too many munching slugs and snails lol :O)
