It's is 25 yrs old the year we built our house one of the 1st planted in garden sadly came with no tag.
I now prefer to have all my names for all my plants.

I can't find anything like it Kath. I would send the photo to Talors and see if they know...or RHS, or whoever has the National Collection. It's a beautiful flower with that hint of cool blue. :)

YHi Kath, I think it could be C 'jackmanii alba', that was around 25 years ago, see what you think, Derek.

Derek it certainly does look like Jackmanii Alba.

Would agree with the Derek's ID. My C j. Alba usually looks like yours. It also gives a second flowering later of single flowers, does yours? But this year the first flowers where single and had an unattractive green stripe on one of the petals, thought it might be due to the cold/wet weather, but no (just looked it up the outer "petals"are sepals and therefore sometime green). Too ugly to post pic.
