Creeping alpine perennial for well-drained soil in full sun. Forms mats a foot or more across.

Scottish - no, it doesn't. It slowly expands and you just have to make sure it doesn't creep into something else.

Drat!! It's lovely, I had this in my hand in the GC today and put it back down again. I like the mat the foliage makes Andrew - does it eventually die off in the centre like some of these alpine perennials often do?
