Well, that is the essence of Priessnitz baths.

Found out today why the basin's wobbly: someone stuck the pin in the bottom and cemented it in, but not evenly - there's small lumps of concrete or plaster or something round the pin, so no wonder it wobbles! I'll have to get a bit of sponge or something to put over the base so that the bowl can sit evenly.
