The pool is on the slope, maybe he tries to balance it. Lol.

Does the water stay in this crazy bird bath Fran?My bird bath is not completely level either after I had to replace it years ago with a large pot saucer.

How does the water stay in it I wonder?. Mine is not level either after I had to renew it with a large pot saucer. Only a slight tilt.

@Dorjac, it does level (ish) - there's a pin under it that fits into a hole on the base, but it's a pain to get the thing level; the base is on bricks and the bowl *should* be level, but I have to keep turning it round to find the level point. and thn it seems that the tiniest breath of air, or a bird landing on one side, gets in wobbly again. it does hold water, but not as much as if it stayed flipping level!

I hadn't thought of using a plant saucer, that might be a lot better - and easier to fit! this damn thing means i have to keep probing and fumbling, and it's not as if it's lgiht, even when empty.

The pot saucer is stuck on with some sort of gunge Fran. There is a huge choice of saucers but they do need to be anchored down with pigeons landing on them they would soon fall off the pedestal.

true! I did get a saucer and put it on an inverted pot as a second water bowl, but wasn't sure about stability - as upi say, a pigepn landing on one rim would probably be more than enolugh to tip it over. eventually put it on the lawn.
