Just noticed the black bits on the stamens of the daylily seem to really stand out hadnt noticed this before but think its normal, will ask Simbad

This is one of my favourite daylilies. I love it, and it really suits it's name.

Thanks simbad, yes needs splitting now :) Thanks karen I acquired it from the GW show quite a few years ago now, can't believe I've been on this site 4 years, just been outside and the black bits aren't so visible now :))
