Hywel...i have a couple of questions for you, as your fuchsias all do so well.....i have only a spotty experience with container gardening, but needs must....would a potted fuchsia be happy if it received dappled shade in the am, full sun from noon to about 3pm, and full shade for the rest of the day? my second question concerns the ground under the plant...i had one plant years ago, but it stained my cement patio so badly i had to move it..something i cannot do with my new courtyard...i know you're a very busy person, so i appreciate your help in this matter...i'd love to try this plant.....i just remembered i have one small spot that gets dappled shade until noon. full shade from then on...would this be a better spot? love all your postings, by the way....

Your Fuchsias should do well in the places you describe :) They don't like the soil to become too dry.
