the stems were sprawling a bit, not sure if that's how they're supposed to be

this is my first proper Buddleia - the one i tried before was a Buzz, mini variety, and it didn't last long enough for me to draw any conclusions.
I'll have to look up plant care, pruning and training etc, I don't want it mugging all around it!

They are great sprawlers Fran. I keep mine coralled with a stake and string. It's shot up to about 12 feet and I don't want it to get too bossy. Next spring...down to ground level.
