JOE - pest control for organic gardening

Blue Jays make great bug catchers. Just feed them organic peanuts and they go to work for you.

Is this a Pinyon Jay? This is very different then the Blue Jays we have in the east.

We don't have blue jays, just the ordinary buff coloured ones here which seem to frequent woodland areas mostly.

That's a western jay, isn't it? there are many types... like Wohlibuli I see bluejay and I think of the raucous scrappers we have here. Great to see an organics expert among us!

I just call it a blue jay. I would have to look up Joe's variety. I will look up the Wohibuli on google. Thanks for noticing. My filmmaker put him in my film doing all of his stunts of eating peanuts out of my hand. He was quite a ham in front of the camera. Have a great week! I am wondering what you are planting in your part of the world this time of year. Thanks, Lee
