there must be a history to this building. never thought to find out what its name was, but it must be awesome being lulled to sleep by the waves - and even more awesome in storms!

it probably is now, Gee, given its location - it couldn't be more "on the front" without being in the water! The top stories seem to be a different texture from the lower ones - I'm really going to have to find out more about it, and who added the lop layers, and when

Reminds me of a hotel we stayed in at Cascais in Portugal. It was shaped like that. I got a horrible stomach upset there I recall, then they had a revolution and everything closed for 2-3 days...good holiday!If it had been in that position we would probably have had a Tsunami as well.

lol Dorjac: there have been tsunami in the Scotland, but not sice the last Ice Age.
Even so, I would imagine that the lowest windows would be a tad vulnerable in storms
