Sandra do you remember me saying we had a 'friendly' cat called Copper ( not ours )who liked to sunbath in our garden ? well I was walking through the garden early one morning over a week ago when it walked beside me nothing unusual about that but then it suddenly shot up my right side sunk its teeth into the top of my arm I couldn't shake it off Tony heard me scream and came out to see what was wrong I had my thick fleece on it went right through ..It was horrific, I had 3 deep punctures wounds the middle one had a chunk out , Tony rang the doctor because we have seen this cat eating rabbits and vermin he made me go straight in and has put me on Penicillin I had an allergy to that with a blistering tongue it hurts to eat and my arm is still inflamed and very bruised , I carry a stick around the garden now because i'm scared it will happen again .. Anyway I'm glad your wrist is better that's good news xx

Oh Amy,I am so sorry to hear that..and no,I don't think you mentioned the cat before..How frightening for you..I wonder why it chose to do that, when it usually walked beside you? Sorry you are still in pain, especially not being able to eat properly..I can imagine how you must be feeling,as I was the same a few months ago, when a local dog bit my le,it is very scary...get well soon,.sending you a big hug .xxx

Thanks Sandra Big hug received and very welcome it was to ... its being taken by surprise like that so suddenly when you're not expecting it as you know when you were bitten , my mouth is still painful I'll not be willing to take Penicillin again in a hurry I've even gone as far as to rub my tongue with Bonjela to sooth it its been 10 days now . Its Tonys birthday tomorrow I've asked our good friends to a little BBQ it will be easier than struggling to eat out somewhere I've made your lovely chocolate cake today I'm going to put the butter icing on and then thick cream inside with a can of drained manderines ... .. I have a huge pan of sticky spare ribs on the cooker at the moment it will save me a job tomorrow they will only need heating up ! the chicken Tony will do on the BBQ ... I'm feeling hungry thinking about it ,Ouch !! Xxx

Happy Birthday to Tony, for tomorrow..and I would gate crash your barbie,if I lived nearer :o) I like the sound of your version of the choccy cake,I might try that.. we all love Mandarins..I made a jelly with a tin of them yesterday.....I hope your mouth feels easier by tomorrow,Amy..I'm sure you could manage half the cake,if nothing else ! Lol xx

It sounds like a cat without a home gone wild, if it's eating food like vermin and rabbits. If it's around a lot have a word with the RSPCA and they will sort it out. I hope you recover soon, it's a bit of a shock when that happens. Hope you enjoyed the cake. I love anything chocolate and it sounds delicious to me.
