The Erythrina croaked over the bad winter of 2011/12. But I have a new one coming along from seed.

Yes, I know...my eyes are really starting to change, and not for the best, either!
So sorry to hear about your E. crista-gallii! I really miss the beautiful flowers on the large ~60 year old E crista-gallii tree that was cut down last year (around the corner from where I live). I used to drive past it every time I went to work or drove out of my neighborhood.
