Gorgeous colour scheme with that deep blue in the background.

Thanks everyone - I wasn't sure I was going to be keen on the colour (remember I asked about yours last time I was up Scotsgran). The deep blue flower is Salvia Amistad. Bought over at Dougal's. It's one of those plants with a dodgy hardiness rating. They type I'm always drawn too!

What a beauty......

Having lost all my records about what is where in the garden I am having to trawl through loads of discs to find out the id of my kniphofias. I have one which is all yellow and Timothy which has several heads on it at the moment. Torrential rain since Saturday has devastated them but at least having seen yours I now know where Timothy is planted. The third one I brought up at the same time after a visit to a GC in Gloucestershire is probably Nancy's Red but it is not showing any flowers as yet. I cannot think of the third name ie the yellow flowered one and looking on the net has not triggered any name as being correct. I have given up on Salvias. I have bought and been gifted many and the only one I have been able to grow and keep is the Sage herb (Salvia officianalis). I do grow other genera of the family Lamiaceae, like lavender, thymus and teucrium but they all seem to be much hardier.

I have just discovered I put the plants in 'My Garden' page. The yellow one is probably Tetbury Torch.

Scotsgran, you did a blog on your Knifophia a while back. That was how I knew you grew it.

Tell me about it, I have every plant I have ever bought all in My Garden.....which is all very well.....but unless you label every plant or take a photo (and sometimes they do not flower, or are not in flower when you buy it) it is just a record, and it is no good me putting where it is sited, because the chance of it staying there.......well!!never happened yet!! lol
I know where my tree ferns are, because I have to water them every day!!

I keep meaning to go through 'My Garden' page and delete everything that is no longer in the garden. I've got lots on there that have left me, for whatever reason!

Scottish I have been doing the same, but every time I delete it goes right back to A again, drives me mad!!is it me am I doing something wrong?

I put up the first edit of a photo the other day. It did not appear and I got a pop up message saying there seemed to be something wrong with goy but the team were sorting it out. I shut up shop and went back in a few hours later and put the second photo on. Today I looked and both photos were there. I have now removed the first one. It is said computers do not make mistakes only the human editor does. Hmmmm! Sometimes soft ware is so advanced that you would need to study advanced computer speak to understand what it is doing. Next minute it reverts to doing things one painfully slow step by painfully slow step. Methinks that is what is happening when one deletes something DD.

DD2, no you are not doing it wrong, sends me round the bend too which is why I don't do it very often!!
Scotsgran, I've had that happen too. It's a real pain, especially if you are just doing the same as you usually would. I'm not entirely convinced it's all down to the human editor either!
