Lake Michigan

I've been to Lake Michigan several times usually when I have to go to Detroit for work and usually fly over it going to and from New York. It does seem like an ocean.

It's either Lake Huron or Lake Erie by Detroit but I figure they're all pretty much the same lake since they're all connected. I thought the same thing flying over Lake Michigan to Chicago but flying from New York to Detroit you'd probably be over Lake Erie for a while.
