Nicotiana glauca (Tree Nicotiana) (Nicotiana glauca (Don Juan))

This has really enjoyed the summer. This will be its last winter in a pot as it's going to be too large for the shed next year.

Right............... grow in a pot for a year before planting out. Fine in a cold greenhouse/shed over the winter. As I say, mine is 2.5 metres tall now.

Meanie:

Another major weed! LOL! :>) Just giving you a bad time!

I see about a million of these weed trees here growing along the freeway going to work...even in the parking lot where I work there's hundreds of these trees growing wild everywhere. I must show you how this plant grows directly out of asphalt and concrete or very rocky soil here. It grows extremely fast to 25 - 30' (7.6 - 10m) tall.

I'm envious of Andys "weeds"!
The thing to remember Amy is that he can't even grow Tulips!!!!!!!!

Meanie:

Well, even though I can't grow tulips here...I still can grow the African Tulip tree...which shames any tulip. :>) My African Tulip tree has been blooming constantly since April of 2013 (which is pretty unusual).

Also, from fall thru early spring many of the tropical trees bloom, such as: Hong Kong Orchid tree, Calliandra, Tabebuia, Erythrina (many species), and you know the list goes on-and-on. :>)

By the way, you never saw the photo I posted for you.
