That may still happen next year. (Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy) started out like this, and now it has a full edge with teeth.

I do have three more first year scapes. We are having a slightly wetter August than normal and that helps things to flower and the weeds to grow.

I had a feeling that was just a taster we had before , but this one double wow and looking at your new photos that you have posted this one leaps out at you

I got lucky last year - there were only a few flowers on Life Is A Highway, and I had to cross it to the best that was available, and it was at the end of when I could make them. Same problem with Cindy's Compasion and Whale Tails.

I'll answer on this one since it is my current favourite (which will change when the next one of mine opens). I am glad you are enjoying my photos. I really need to limit the seedlings I will be keeping because I am running out of room to start everything I want to. I am trying to call a stop to making crosses (fall will be here soon), but plants like Cindy's Compulsion is open today, and Strikingly Dramatic is putting up another 4 scapes (who can resist making crosses with those?).
