Tall Bearded Iris "Terra del Fuoco"

I was sent a coupe of tubers by a lovely member on here this year ( Tommymoo) after I'd admired her picture ,of a very dark almost black one, quite tall, fingers crossed for flowers next year :-)

I got this one from a nursery in Spain. A friend who rents out his cottage in the summer brought this couple over to the Quinta as they were avid gardeners and they were hoping to move to Portugal (which they have since done) they wanted to see what grew here....basically everything!! She was a serious Iris fanatic and gave me the contact, since when I've developed a bit of an addiction too!
Give it another season and your more than welcome to a bit!

Aaaaw thanks I'll have to see what I have to swap,just divided a few iris to swap with another member on here but another season I should have some more, I do have the most fabulous white that was sent to me by Tommymoo by mistake, it should have been the dark one, i'm not complaining as its stunning and seems to be increasing really well, so by next season, here's my picture of it in the spring.
