The pack looked almost luminous and I couldn't resist them.

Yes, they do need tlc. I can't remember the name on the rack of these, but the photo shows it to be blue - and it's actually purple! So it can't be 'Buebird', Outlander.

If you keep it dead headed until it gets too cold to produce seed heads it should flower right though the winter. I only grow pansies through the winter as I don't have time to keep them dead headed in the summer.

Yes, that's what I usually do - but I really prefer Violas, as they seem to last longer than Pansies. I fell for these - the colour is lovely. :-)

Yes, and I decided I'd like another pack, but other people had got there first. :-((

isn't that just typical? I bought some small chrysanths and wished I bought more when I got home. Not worth going back as they were in Sunderland.

That's just a bit *too* far, Sbg!

lovely pic. I tended not to give my pansies too much attention, dead-heading etc, I need to remember that all plants need TLC, some more than others.

Nice pic, this one is ' Bluebird' if I guess it right, but alas my own Bluebirds gave up the ghost weeks ago. It takes dedicated deadheading and constant vigilance to keep a pot of Pansies going.
