This is another view of my younger desert rose. Photo taken Aug. 26, 2014.

It's 16" (41cm) tall. Adenium doesn't grow very fast. I've only seen a few which were 6' (2m) tall and they must have been very old. The 20' (6.1m) plus tall ones in its native Madagascar and eastern Africa must be centuries old.
