I like this, but I tried Oenothera one year, and it was so invasive that I spent several years getting rid of it.

These were grown from RHS seed this year and I planted them in a clearing in the wood, where they seem to be happy.
You'd have to close your eyes to the weedy areas if you came round Dawn and Dd ;-)
They self seed here too Wylie I'm actually hoping this one does as there's a lot of space for it where it is, very unlike me to give plants room lol.

I have lots of weeds Kathy. I have bog standard evening primrose and it seeds all round, hope your special one does too.
